Our Story

Hi there,

I'm Christine, and I am so glad you found my page! I am a sugar cookie artist based out of the west end of Ottawa.

My history with sugar cookies actually began as a child when my sisters and I would bake cookies with our mom for our classmates. Fast forward to my teen and early adult years, I was always baking up a storm for school bake sales, and the birthdays of friends and families. In 2020, I was finally able to hone in on my skills and develop them at a professional level (thank you Covid!). 

For me the magic of cookies is turning the otherwise mundane or even meaningless moments of life into something truly memorable, for children of any age (yes, even the inner child in all of us). It's telling the people we love that they matter, and celebrating all of life's joys - whether that be for birthdays, graduations, baby showers, weddings; Or even Taylor releasing a new album, a Vasectomy, or even just because. 

My only tattoo is a Monarch butterfly, which represents so many things to me which can be summarized by (1) hope and perseverance in the face of adversity (2) a sense of childhood wonder watching them evolve (3) passing on and keeping this magic alive for future generations and finally (4) growth and transformation into our truest selves. And yes, I do believe these can all relate to cookies. While it's not that deep (they're just cookies, right?), it actually is for me, and I infuse that sense of magic into every thing that I create.
