FAQ
1- Are your cookies nut free?
Our cookies do contain almond extract. Additionally, they are made in a shared commercial kitchen space so we cannot guarantee that they are free of any common allergens including nuts. I do offer nut free cookies for custom orders, but do not recommend for severe allergies.
2- How far ahead do I need to book?
For custom work, I require a minimum of two week's notice. However, I typically book up 2+ months in advance, the more notice the better! Very occasionally, I can accommodate shorter notice orders, it never hurts to ask.
3- How long do your cookies stay fresh for?
We recommend keeping them for up to two weeks packaged, at room temperature. If they are not sealed, they will begin to dry out after a couple of days. Cookies also freeze very well and maintain their taste and appearance extremely well.
4- Do I need to refrigerate my cookies?
Nope! Decorated cookies actually do fairly poorly in the fridge, with color often bleeding. Room temperature is best, away from sunlight.
5- Do you deliver?
Yes! All orders are available for delivery via Trexity, for an added fee ($5-$20).
6- How much do your cookies cost?
Cookies are priced according to the size and level of detail. Full sized cookies typically range from $6-$10 and minis range from $3-$6 (which includes individually wrapping and sealing for freshness). For custom orders, the minimum order is two dozen full sized or 4 dozen minis. Please see our pricing page for more detailed information.
7- Do you offer vegan and/or gluten-free cookies?
Yes I do! I offer both of these for most larger holiday pre-sales, as well as with custom orders. Again I do not recommend these options if there are any severe allergies, but I do whatever I am able to in order to avoid cross contamination.
8- Do you teach classes?
Yes I do! I offer classes seasonally at Jules Cakes (can be found through social media and her website when being offered), and private classes. Please see our class page for more information, I'd love to share my knowledge!
